Friday, May 1st marked the beginning of a new month and was also quite monumental here at Our Lady of Grace as the final group of sisters living in what has now become our former Monastery, moved into the new Monastery. As their rooms were being prepared, the Sisters watched "The Sound of Music" to pass the time. The afternoon rolled around and soon they were in their rooms excited about their new surroundings.

It was quite a big day here as this past week we lived through our list of "lasts". The last Morning Prayer, Noon Prayer and Evening Prayer - the last meal in the dining room - the last time in our bedrooms - the last time walking down the halls - the last movie watched....the list could go on and on as we experienced many "lasts" these past few days. But our hearts are filled with joy as we will now experience a list of "firsts" in the new Monastery. Our list began today as we had our first Evening Prayer in our temporary Chapel and ate our fist meal in the dining room. We look forward to adding many more "firsts" in the weeks and months to come.

Things are wonderful here at Our Lady of Grace and we look forward to what lies ahead.
