ARE THEY NOW ?
Sr. Mary Judith Howe 
Sister Mary Judith Howe is all business. Although
she began teaching fourth through eighth grades
in 1945, she turned her sights to business courses
for high school age students in 1952. She received
her M.B.S. from the University of Notre Dame and
taught at Mater Dei High School in Evansville, Our
Lady of Grace Academy and Bishop Chatard High School.
Because of her expertise in this field, Sister
Mary Judith also served as the Treasurer for the
community from 1959-1963 and again from 1968-1976.
Upon returning to the monastery, she worked diligently
in the Development Office at Our Lady of Grace
Monastery for 15 years. She now does tasks around
the monastery such as dishwashing, laundry and
many other things. Sister Mary Judith's beautiful
smile and compassionate heart endear her to all
with whom she comes in contact.
